Meeting Dr. McHenry for me has really been a life changing experience. Back in January of this year I developed a severe pain in my right shoulder socket and, within days, I went numb from the right side of my head all the way down to my arm and upper back, followed by shingles along my shoulder and arm. When I first came to Dr. McHenry I was in so much pain that I could barely stand up straight. What I immediately noticed about him was his attentiveness, his easy manner and his patience in explaining what exactly was wrong with me and why this had happened. Over the course of 3 months Dr. McHenry was able to release the nerve damage that was causing my conditions and, in the process, relieved other symptoms such as headaches and neck pain. Not only that but in this short period he was also able to get my neck to where it should be (that nice curved shape), something that no other chiropractor has been able to do.
My story would probably end here, but it doesn’t. In the course of my treatment, Dr. McHenry educated me on the importance of the nervous system, on what chiropractic really does for us, about the importance of detoxifying the body and why drugs only mask the symptom. No other doctor had ever taken the time to do any of this. Today I not only feel better physically but mentally and emotionally as well. Regular visits ensure that I stay healthy and have even improved other conditions. Incredible!
