My Name is Richard Diaz and I have been a patient of Dr. McHenry for about three years now. I wish I would have known about his clinic sooner because I think I may have been able to avoid some unnecessary surgery.
In 1994 I had an auto accident and the following year I was hit really hard in the back of the head with a soccer ball. Those two incidents started the onset of several years of nearly constant neck pain, tension and headaches.
I saw different doctors including neurologist, and orthopedic surgeon who sent me for MRI and told me I had bulging discs and recommended surgery on my neck. In May of 2008 I had pins surgically placed to fuse the cervical vertebra.
I felt okay for about six months and then the pain came back as before the surgery. It was a couple months after this when I first came to Dr.McHenry’s clinic. He adjusted my Atlas the first time and I felt a huge relief. I wish that someone had told me to come here first.
The adjustments have helped me a lot and it always gets rid of the tension. I think if I had known to come here first that I would not have had to have the surgery.
I would recommend to anyone to at least try this first!
